Friday, January 1st, 2010

We had a great Christmas. James loved getting all kinds of Thomas the train stuff, and David just kinda sat there, which is about to be expected. Here is James opening his gifts:

Where have all the pictures gone….

Monday, October 29th, 2007

Well, we haven’t posted in awhile mainly because nothing has really been going on. But also because the cats took the camera and we haven’t be able to find it. Now you are probably thinking, “How could the cats take the camera?” Well they have done it before. They like the case we keep the camera in. We usually find it right away, but I guess this time they were really mad at us for leaving them for a weekend, because it has been over a week and we still haven’t found it.

I think we might just have to go out and buy a new one. Right now we have a disposable one for Halloween pictures, so as soon as we use up all the film, we will post James in his very cute Halloween outfit. It will be weird to see what we get since we can’t view the picture before we get it developed. It will be like Christmas….:)

James’ Official Weigh in!

Thursday, June 21st, 2007

James had his 15 month check up on Tuesday. He currently weighs 24 pounds, and is 30.75 inches tall. The doctor said he was doing great! He did get a shot, and was such a trooper. Though him not crying might have been that he had a meltdown waiting the 45 minutes to see the doctor and didn’t have much left in him. No matter what we did, he didn’t get he couldn’t be on the floor, nor leave the room. Poor guy…

We asked the doctor about his huge melon, and he told us that his granddaughter’s was bigger, so don’t worry. He is actually in the 50th percentile in everything. He also said James can start having scrambled eggs in a few weeks. So grandpa, James is putting in his order now for the next time he visits.

The picture below was taken today. It took me almost 5 minutes to get it. He wouldn’t stop moving long enough to get a picture that wasn’t fuzzy.

Happy Belated Father’s Day!

Thursday, June 21st, 2007

Well, I know it is over a week now since Father’s day, but well, I’m lazy about posting. But in my defense, we had a house guest, and then we went out of town, so maybe that makes up for not posting something on Father’s day. Either way, I hope all you fathers out there had a great day. I know Cory, James and I did. Below is the cake that James help to make for his Special Daddy! Happy Father’s Day!!!

Glenn and Karen’s Wedding Gift

Thursday, June 21st, 2007

Below is a picture of the gift we gave to them. I made the shirt the monkey is wearing. As for the monkey, his name is Code and we made him at Build-a-Bear. Currently, he is in Glenn’s suitcase heading back to Panama. I hope he (Code) makes it and that he keeps in touch! Safe Travel to you both!

Congratulations Glenn and Karen!!!

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007

Well, the happy couple tied the knot on May 25, 2007. We are so happy for them! Now you are probably asking yourself, why didn’t we post our congratulations on the happy day. Well, we all know that being married 11 days is WAY cooler a time for someone to receive their congratulations.

Not that I might have completely forgotten to post it due to being out of town, and then just remembered about 10 minutes before posting this. It couldn’t be that, could it?????

Either way, we are so happy for Glenn and Karen and wish them all the best!!!!

Love to you both!!!!

James is Walking

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

Here is James walking. He just figured out how to do it a few weeks ago. He’s a real handful to keep track of now!

We’re Still Here!

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

I know it has been a while since our last post. Things have been a little crazy here. Nothing bad, but still not sure how good. When we know more we will post here, but otherwise we are still going strong.

We missed mother’s day to post a nice post about the day. We just enjoyed being a family and played outside. James got me the cutest card, and penguin charm. It was just a great day to be together with my boys.

In the past two days I think I have been earning my title of mom. (I know fellow mother’s will appreciate this.)

Yesterday, I went to Cory’s work to have lunch with him. We also had the pleasure of having lunch with our friend, Melanie. It was great to have such a lovely, uneventful meal. James had his usual: a grilled cheese and a banana. Later that day, I went to get my sunglasses out of my purse/diaper bag when I found a piece of BANANA. The kicker was I was in the middle of K-mart at the time. I just smiled.

Then today, I was going through some papers when James came over to me and I noticed the tell tailed oder. (You mom’s know what I am talking about.) So I looked over and he had his left hand covered in it. So I immediately got him in the bath and cleaned him off. The whole time laughing a little bit because I remembered when I found out I was pregnant with him and not really thinking it was all real. Little did I Know that James would so nicely make being a mother REAL for me.

Best Husband EVER!!

Tuesday, May 1st, 2007

Well, I knew going into our marriage that I had a winner, but boy did he surprise me for our anniversary. He got me my usual anniversary gift; a charm for my charm bracelet. Then at dinner, he handed me a small black box. Now any girl will tell you that only good things come in a small box, and well I will let the picture below speak for itself…..got to love him!

Happy Anniversary to US!!!

Friday, April 27th, 2007

Today is our 5th wedding anniversary! Hard to believe it has been 5 years. Below is Cory’s Anniversary Cookie Cake. He has told me many times that he always wanted a cookie cake, so I a made one to surprise him with it. He doesn’t know about it right now. I am hoping to surprise him later tonight with it. Happy Anniversary, Sweetie!
